DESCRIPTION

The Kasper Group is currently seeking a Costing & Allocations Manager who is an expert negotiator with a strong eye for product detail and sense of style. Must have broad technical knowledge in all areas of knit and sweater production, with a proven ability to increase revenues and profits through innovative and creative global sourcing, product development, line building and quality assurance.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage cost while working closely with Design on developing product to fit price points.
  • Determine and assign final allocations to selected factory base
  • Negotiate to final confirmed pricing resulting in exceeding corporate margin goals.
  • Source and on board new vendors to keep in line with evolving global market trend.
  • Create and monitor seasonal corporate calendar.
  • Develop and maintain strong cross functional relationships
  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Motivate and mentor staff to streamline processes and to increase team efficiency.

  • BA degree in fashion field (preferred) or equivalent work
