Coordinator, HBC Events

Job Description The Coordinator, HBC Events is responsible for supporting the HBC event strategy including maximizing exposure for the HBC brand, which includes coordinating logistics for all corporate driven events and supporting the overall Events COE.  

Responsibilities

  • Recap and roll up master event reporting by banner
  • Standardize all templates and implement use of shared resources to ensure consistency across Events COE
  • Publish all relevant event materials to The Hub
  • COE liaison for shared service programs, i.e. IOD, COD & Brickwork, etc.
  • Update and maintain all contact lists (internal & external)
  • Collect, compile and organize all inspiration materials in one place
  • Process, reconcile and file all invoices
  • Coordinate event logistics and help execute HBC events

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience

Knowledge & Skills

The ideal candidate must be able to work in a professional, fast-paced environment and be willing to deal with shifting priorities.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communications skills (written & verbal) and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of business acumen including budgeting, sales reporting and financial analysis
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, understand priorities and adapt to changing needs & demands
  • Must be well-poised and can collaborate with internal and external partners across many different levels of the organization
  • Possess a strong drive to take initiative and be resourceful
  • Day-to-day project management experience
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google/Gmail
  • Retail experience, a plus
