Major Responsibilities

 

 

The Import Analyst will work directly with the off shore vendors to make sure they are compliance in shipping documentation and making sure all rules are adhered to.

 

 

Role responsibilities include:

 

  1. Goods are shipped on time with accuracy and proper documentation is received

     

  2. Documents are checked and prepared for customs clearance

     

  3. Ensure that compliance issues and/or concerns are being investigated and resolved

     

  4. Work with vendors on resolving any cost issues, making sure the proper and correct documentation is submitted for payment

     

  5. Vendor compliance with Product Labeling

     

  6. Assist in the rating/other department function when required

Qualifications

Professional Qualifications

 

  • 5 years of experience in Customs & Imports

     

  • CCS (Customs Certified Specialist) preferred

     

  • Detail oriented with strong time management skills

     

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

     

  • capable of working well as a productive contributor and positive member of the team

     

  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft-word, excel, pp)

     

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a high degree of initiative
