CK Calvin Klein Accessories Design Intern - CALVIN KLEIN

 

CALVIN KLEIN is a global lifestyle brand that exemplifies bold, progressive ideals and a seductive, and often minimal, aesthetic. The Shoes & Accessories design interns will have the opportunity to learn from our design teams that support all CALVIN KLEIN brands: CALVIN KLEIN 205 W39 NYC, CK Calvin KLEIN, CALVIN KLEIN and Calvin Klein Jeans.

The shoes and accessories department works closely with specific RTW design teams  and merchandising to create and design seasonal collections.

 

What to expect:

  • Assist with design research, learn how to create inspiration boards
  • Learn how to create detail sheets, specs, color-ups and materialization cads
  • Learn how to sketch life size images
  • Learn the importance and inventory of materials/ skins

 

Candidates should possess:

  • Shoes and handbags design knowledge 
  • Excellent communication skills, dare to ask questions and have a point of view
  • Proactive, can-do approach 
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, and team-player approach

 

 

Additional Program Information:

 

  • Candidates must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program and be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • The paid internship is based out of our NY offices and is not eligible for relocation or visa sponsorship.
  • Candidates will be expected to work a minimum of 16 hours per week and can work a maximum of 28 hours per week
  • The Fall Internship session will begin Monday, September 11th and conclude Friday, December 8th
