BUSINESS ANALYTICS AND DEMAND PLANNER - Beauty Brand (Job 8887)

Our client, an innovative beauty brand, is seeking a Business Analytics and Demand Planner for its location in NYC. This person will conduct forecasting, production and material planning and distribution planning for the entire company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the S&OP process while implementing new procedures and better practices
• Create and maintain a S&OP forecasting model
• Ensure the accuracy behind supply chain planning analytics
• Achieve planning metrics, such as forecast accuracy, inventory days on hand, ratio of obsolescence to sales/inventory, etc.
• Perform weekly analyses on sales and inventory for all channels
• Develop retail stock and sales plan
• Interface with Buyers to recommend re-orders where applicable
• Report key metrics to management and provide conclusions
• Lead strategic, long-range supply, demand, and capacity planning
• Assess risk to obsolescence across multiple product categories to support planning strategies

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is required
• 5 years of experience in a planning and leadership role, preferably in a related beauty or CPG company
• Proficiency in ERP systems is required
• Experience leading a monthly S&OP process
• Ability to manage a team 
• Ability to create master schedules and manage inventory levels
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel
