Job Purpose: The Technical Design Associate will provide routine fitting support tasks to help facilitate fitting sessions, run fittings and send fit comments to vendor.

Daily Functions:
Prepare for fittings by measuring samples and reviewing that samples have been constructed as requested in tech packages.
Take detailed and accurate notes during the fitting.
Assist in setting up fit comment files for each sample after fittings.
Run Production fittings and send production fit comments to vendor.
Technical flat sketching.
Tracking fit queue and priority.
Logging all samples and reference samples in sample tracker (development – production), making sure all samples are checked out if removed from fit room.
Other organizational duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma, Associates Degree or related experience with Sewing, Fitting or Pattern making.
Must have experience in the fashion industry with knowledge of various fashion terminologies and processes.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be willing to work in a fast-paced fashion environment and maintain a self starting attitude.
Must have computer skills (ex: creating excel documents, creating & organizing files)
Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop required for flat sketching and sketch modification.
Must be highly detail-oriented and organized.
