DUTIES:

  • Produce weekly reports recapping sales, and inventory by department, classification and by door.
  • Recap business by classification, style, color and size and create best seller/hindsight reports on a weekly basis to identify risks and opportunities
  • Responsible for the local replenishment Basics program – forecast needs, identify opportunities, monitor inventory level
  • Review and analyze profitability monthly and propose creative ideas to minimize MDA, RTV and drive top line sales
  • Provide a weekly shipping recap vs. budget and LY
  • Work with Sale force on optimization & productivity strategies
  • Provide ongoing assessment of inventory productivity by account; including door analysis as necessary
  • Manage and update monthly open-to-buy
  • Recommend buys based on thorough analysis of retail business prior to each market to achieve increased sales, profitability and sell-thru % by class and department
  • REQUIREMENTS:

    Must have 2+ yrs. Experience in Retail Planning, Store Planning and/or allocation

    • University or college degree
    • Detail oriented
    • Strong interest in learning and applying retail math concepts, including elements of markup, margin planning, open to buy, and inventory productivity measures (WOS, T/O, GM)
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Strong computer skills - preferably MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Sense of urgency flexibility ability to multi-task
    • Willingness to learn
