ASSOCIATE PLANNER - DOE - NYC

Our client is an established fashion house in NYC specializing in women’s and children’s apparel. They are currently seeking an Associate Planner. 

Salary/Rate: DOE

Position Overview: This position will focus on planning for private label and licensed product. The candidate will focus on acting as a business partner to customers, providing financial results, opportunities growth, threats and inventory management. 

Responsibilities: 

• The Associate Planner creates and analyzes daily, weekly, and monthly selling reports
• Prepares inventory reports to monitor stock
• Assists with administrative needs and projects
• Works heavily on Excel and internal systems to meet planning teams needs
• Assists in creating reports including sell through, AUR, inventory, sales performance and more
• The Associate Planner assists with model forecasting and projecting
• Compiles assortment analysis to determine contract order quantities by style, color, and size
• Collaborates with customers to create item information via Datasync
• The Associate Planner liaises between customer, and cross-functional teams

Qualifications: 

• 3-5 years of experience
• Internship experience a plus
• Strong organizational skills
• Systems savvy
• Good communication skills
• Computer Skills: Advanced Excel

Education Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree
