ASSOCIATE MERCHANDISER

General Overview:

This position requires 3+ years’ work experience in the industry. The candidate should be highly driven and motivated with major potential that can learn quickly and work well in a team environment.  Strong computer and analytical skills are important.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee photography and doll sheet creation and maintenance
• Publish style master within AS400 and BMS systems
• Communicate all line changes via bulletins thru BMS
• Close follow thru on body changes w/ tech &prod teams
• Understand timeline and priority on projects and be able to multi-task
• Assist in fabric buys, tracking fabric deliveries, and identifying potential concerns
• Work with Director to create seasonal blueprints based on trends, historical performance and corporate budgets
• Special projects include in-depth seasonal analysis,
• Prepare and monitor distribution of weekly selling information
• BMS involvement on glitches in system, troubleshooting
• PR copy proofing and coordination to meet deadlines
• Train assistants and new employees on systems
• Liaison to sales, design and production on all aspects of line list
• Pricing analysis for our competition
