ASSOCIATE DESIGNER - Novelty Graphics

Responsibilities:
  • Design graphics and illustrations for all product categories, including apparel, handbags, scarves, sleepwear, kids, phone-cases and jewelry.
  • Work collaboratively with Senior Manager to conceive seasonal product offerings
  • Research design trends to ensure our design work is modern and on-trend
  • Understand the brand and translate that into product ideas and graphics
  • Manage cross-category design changes throughout season
  • Prepare technical files to pass to CAD team for printing
  • Support team members where needed and requested
Qualifications:
  • Strong graphic design skills and aesthetic
  • Highly creative
  • Excellent typography skills
  • Illustration skills a plus
  • Strong execution and project management
  • Works collaboratively, efficiently and has clear communication skills
  • Mac proficiency
  • Expert level in Adobe CS applications: photoshop, illustrator
  • Product design experience is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible
  • Positive attitude
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Bachelors degree in communication design or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience
