ASSISTANT TO VP OF SALES - Fashion Licensing Company

Our VP of sales is in need of an experienced assistant for immediate hire. We are a very small fashion licensing company based in West Hollywood, and we recently opened a new showroom in New York as well. Though we are a small company, we do multi million dollars in sales monthly, so we need someone who is extremely organized, reliable, and can adapt quickly.

Our VP would like to have someone who has experience in the following:

  • Data entry
  • Photoshop/Illustrator
  • Logging /taking photos of samples for Dropbox
  • Trend research/mood boards
  • High volume sales
  • Wholesale
  • Pre and post production–e.g., communicating with factories daily, understanding technical terms.

Requirements:

  • Professional
  • Detail-oriented
  • Multi-tasker
  • Execute tasks by deadline
  • Organized
  • Reliable**
  • Can handle constructive criticism
  • Handles working under pressure well
  • Handles working well with difficult personalities
  • Has reliable transportation
  • Can travel on occasion
  • Is always 10 minutes early

HUGE plus if you have experience in wholesale, handbags, fashion merchandising, overseas production experience, and intermediate+ in Photoshop/Illustrator.

We need someone who is quick to say yes and who is willing to learn. This position will never have two days that are the same, that’s why it’s important for us to find someone who does NOT have the mentality of, “That’s not my job!”

This person will occasionally go to meetings with our VP, run errands, input production orders, respond to emails, take photos, update orders in our system, handle calendars and set up meetings, order/pick up lunches and do coffee runs, order supplies, and keep our VP up to date with any changes with orders or cancellation dates.

Please send us your cover letter, resume, and portfolio–if you have experience in Photoshop/Illustrator.
