ASSISTANT TECHNICAL DESIGNER – DOE - NYC

This role is for an established contemporary fashion brand specializing in RTW and Menswear. This exciting, fast growing company is looking for a talented Assistant Technical Designer to work in their corporate offices.

Salary/Rate: Open/DOE

Position Overview: The Assistant Technical Designer will be working closely with the Design and Product Development teams to create superior product, communicate effectively with factories, assist in fittings, tech pack creation and more. This role requires communication with all cross functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in fitting samples
• Communicate daily with cross functional and external partners
• Support Design and Product Development teams in development of product
• Assist design team in completing or touching up sketches on illustrator and/or photoshop
• Creation of tech packs and necessary reference sheets

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to establish and foster relationships with partnering teams
• Ability to meet deadline demands
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree- or equivalent
