Bass, among others is seeking an Associate dress designer to join it's team based on New York City is seeking an Assistant Technical Designer to join it's team based in New York City.

• Prepare fit samples for fitting.
• Take detail notes during fitting.
• Collaborating with design team in the specifics of how each garment should look during the development stages of each season. Creating the initial body specs for styles each season.
• Reviewing garments on live model in fitting.
• Creating detailed comments of revisions made to garments.
• Daily correspondence with factories.
• Ensuring necessary labels and hangtags for each style are added and correct for the needs of each garment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design , Production Management or Pattern Making Certificate
• Knowledge of Pattern Making
• Formal training in garment creation and production
• Understanding of garment construction
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Written communication skills
• Team player
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
