Assistant Technical Designer

Well established Apparel Company is seeking for an entry level Assistant Technical Designer to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills who is intelligent, collaborative and a team player.

To be a qualifying fit for our team the candidate must have:

• A great understanding of garment construction, point of measurement and specifications.
• Knowledge and Ability to spec garments.
• Basic fabric characteristics and the difference between knit and woven types.
• Experience in garment wash and dye and how they affect the fit, drape and specs is a plus. 
• Must be proficient in Excel.
• Great organizing and filling skills

Education:
Technical Design degree or equivalent preferred (but not required)

Experience:
1-2 years Technical Design experience.
