ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER / COORDINATOR

LAmade, a contemporary apparel company seeks a Assistant Sales manager/Coordinator for our Los Angeles Headquarters. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position is responsible to assist Sales Department in achieving and exceeding projected sales goals.  Ideal candidate must be reliable, energetic, highly motivated and detail oriented individual living in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area.  This position will participate in regional shows and handle the daily communication for all our outside sales representatives.

 

RESPONSIBILITY:

• Assist CEO in coordinating Regional Sales Representative Teams to drive and increase the overall sales volume and profitability within the regions

 Assist Manager in maintaining daily, weekly and monthly reports for existing Sales Reps, Accounts, and internal use.

Sending a summary report every Friday to Regional Sales Reps and the Management team

Reports for every trade/regional show

- Monthly reports for quantity sold per style

- Monthly reports per sales rep goals vs booked qty

- Manage and send weekly inventory to all the Sales Reps

• Provide sales tools for all the sales reps

- Bi-weekly bookings/invoiced reports TY vs LY for complete territory and by state

- Best booking styles

- Identify new leads and referrals and develop client relationships with them

- Work internally to coordinate salesman samples to all the reps in time

- Work with design team to have all sales tools ready for new season line

- Make sure everything is ready on our wholesale platform before season starts

• Interact with Warehouse, Accounting, Production and Customer Service Department to resolve any customer issues

 Attend and setup for all major trade shows nationally (required to travel and sell the women’s or kid’s line)

• Sell to current and potential clients including off price accounts either retail chain or online

 Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor and manager

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers and internal departments

• Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, organized, positive team player with sincere desire to resolve conflict and promote customer satisfaction

• Must have strong retail math, merchandising  and planning skills

• Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Illustrator

• Must be able to multi-task and handle high stress environments

• Must be willing to travel

• Eager to learn and feel passionate about the brand and the fashion industry

• At least 3 years experience in contemporary apparel sales industry

• Require Bachelor or Associate Degree in marketing or fashion related major

• Equivalent work experience in fashion related industries accepted in lieu of degree

• Must be able to provide proof of US employment authorization documentation
