ASSISTANT MANAGER WITH VISUAL DOR, MARKET STREET, THE WOODLANDS

Overview

Assistant Managers with a Visual DOR will support Store Managers
and Associate Managers with the overall daily management, sales,
training, and operations of the store. They will also support the
Area/District/Regional Visual managers with the visual timeline
and tasks.


Responsibilities

Delivering and Impacting Business Results

• Assist in motivating staff and align daily activities to
achieve business goals

• Monitor sales floor and zone coverage to drive sales and
maintain customer focus

• Model and Ensure dress code compliance

• Monitor service associate breaks and shift changes

• Communicate top and bottom sellers to Store Manager

• Conduct hourly sales reads and coach staff on exceeding sales
targets

• Achieve personal sales targets

Visual execution and communication

• Execute monthly flip process in line with the visual directive.

• Ensure visual standards are maintained throughout the store.

• Assist in the execution of window changes and the
dressing/styling of all interior mannequins on time and on
concept

• Re-merchandising according to sell through, clarity of offer,
and store concept

• Execute merchandising based on markdowns and promotions as per
corporate office or photo directives

• Complete weekly visual walk through with store management to
analyze sell through and identify opportunities for increased
productivity through visual merchandising.

• Utilize the “Store Experience Walk through Action Plan”
template and file in visual binder.

• Provide necessary feedback to the visual team and Store
Manager to drive the business through visual and
merchandising opportunities.

• Ensure music is per company directive

• Communicate daily with Store Manager to convey changes and
issues with visual direction

• Communicate store deficiencies i.e. lighting fixtures, visual
standards and cleanliness

• Assist in coaching and training for in-store visual staff and
store teams on store environment expectations

Customer Focus

• Protect the customer experience in all business areas

• Focus staff on the importance of the quality of our
relationships with our customers

• Ensure proper training on product knowledge for staff

• Lead by example in client capture results

Operational Standards

• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures

• Ensure daily monitoring and execution of sales and payroll
goals.

• Uphold and model established best practices

• Needs to be a #1 sales leader on the floor measured by sales
per hour/average sales and units per transaction

• Strict compliance and adhering to the application of policies
and procedures

Skills and Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of retail management experience

• Passion for visual merchandising and creative display

• Skillset that includes that merchandise space planning,
fixture layout and window propping install

• Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent time management/project skills

• Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of
priority for deadlines and attention to detail

• Goal oriented: ability to stay focused on creating winning
results

• Hours/days of work vary due to the demands of the business

• Must be able to work shift standing and waking and able to
lift approximately 20lbs, and to pack, unpack and move stock
