ASSISTANT DESIGNER - Womenswear Suits & Separates

Salary: 45,000+ DOE

• 3-5 years’ womenswear design experience.
• Experience with Women’s wear, Suits and Separates.
• No knitwear background
• AAS or BFA degree in Fashion Design
• Must have excellent sketching technique and understanding of garment construction and patternmaking
• Assists on seasonal concepts, presentation boards and sketches
• Must be creative and take initiative to accomplish all objectives and goals beyond what is required
• Must have good communication skills, job knowledge and adaptability to a fast paced work environment
• Time management and effective communication skills
• Team player
• Execute all development on time
• Taking initiative in working in the sample room to have a better understanding of garment construction. Expand market, technique and concept research abilities.
