ASSISTANT DESIGNER - Jewelry

Job description includes (but not limited to) following responsibilities:

• Partner with other designers in executing design concepts from conception to samples
• Using Illustrator and Photoshop to create designs for branded jewelry lines
• Preparing new designs as well as expanding on current collections
• Communicating with overseas makers to make sure samples are finished in a timely manner, as well as being their point person for any questions
• Daily communication with sales teams to ensure hand over of all design direction from customers
• Interpreting new styles for specific customers based on their current trends
• Help create new packaging ideas

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• 1-2 years experience in jewelry design
• Strong knowledge of jewelry making
• Strong knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop programs
• Able to spec jewelry samples and CADs
• Must have the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a very fast paced environment
• Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities at once; strong time management skills
• Strong color sense
• Maintain a positive and energetic attitude
• Work well with others, be a team player
• Strong attention to detail
