  Responsibilities:
  • Assist the buyer to identify future product opportunities, trends, and offerings which will impact the business across both shopping channels, stores and ecommerce
  • Responsible for sku set up and maintenance including but not limited to, defining items, generating purchase orders, inputting markdowns
  • Track purchase orders and vendor inventory files to ensure timely delivery of merchandise
  • Own the assortment list ensuring all style information and pricing is accurate
  • Analyze and present weekly category/vendor sales data to identify trends and themes within the business
  • Use reporting to develop an in-depth understanding of product performance and customer base to develop action plans
  • Assist buyer in merchandise decisions with thorough analysis of sales data as well as market and seasonal trends
  • Understand current sales trends, shipments, and inventory levels to partner with planning and allocation in order to react to business appropriately
  • Partner with cross functional teams to aid in the development and implementation of merchandising strategies including licensing, design, ecommerce, visual, and operations teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships and follow-throughs with cross-functi
  Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in a multivendor a plus
  • 1-3 years experience as a merchandise assistant or assistant buyer
  • Proficient in retail math and excel
  • Ability to multitask and focus in a busy atmosphere
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and shift priorities
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with cross functional teams
  • Posses strong presentation, listening, verbal and written communication skills 
  • Demonstrated success in working on a collaborative team
