ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE HANDBAG DESIGNER

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Minimum 1.5+ years of Handbag design experience 

* Expertise in Adobe Software Programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.)

* Proficient in  Excel and PowerPoint

* Knowledge of materials, production, sampling processes, vendor markets

* Must be a team player with the desire to form working relationships across multiple departments and streamline processes

* Strong time management skills; communications skills- verbal and written

JOB DESCRIPTION:

* Follow, interpret, and forecast brand-appropriate trends and key silhouettes

* Create concept packets, computer render (sketch) designs, and create tech packs

* Render/sketch/create tech packs exclusively in Illustrator and computer programs

* Review correspondence with factories, review quality and construction on samples and provide feedback to vendors

* Participate in concept and design meetings; present to licensor

Compensation/title commensurate with experience.
