Anthropologie Visual Sales Associate - Mall Of America, Minnesota

Visual Sales Associate

 

A Visual Sales Associate serves as an expert in several key areas of the business to support the store leadership team in

creating a profitable and customer-centric environment. They support the merchant process, apply merchant skills and

support the execution of display to create a compelling, well curated customer experience. Visual Sales Associates serve as

a mentor to Customer Associates by supporting the training of merchant skills and standards.

 

REPORTS TO: Visual Manager & Store Manager

 

 

AESTHETIC UNDERSTANDING & APPLICATION

  • Has a strong understanding of trend and style that is reflective of the brand and core customer
  • Supports product placement and outfitting that is reflective of trend, reinforces brand messaging, and inspires the customer
  • Contributes creative ideas and solutions regarding merchandising and display
  • Executes stock-to-sales processes and presentation standards
  • Develops an understanding of how the merchant process impacts business and the customer experience
  • Participates in an environment of creativity, inspiration and idea generation
  • Supports the team in connecting brand aesthetic with store Social Media platforms

 

CUSTOMER CONNECTION

  • Supports an environment of genuine customer connection
  • Acts as an empowered team member, exercising decision-making skills to enhance each customer’s experience
  • Acts as a zone Lead, developing and exemplifying extraordinary service in each zone
  • Acts as a brand ambassador reflective of the company values and aesthetic
  • Takes ownership of individual awareness and supports sharing of product knowledge and current trend to customer associates.
  • Supports processes and utilizes tools to better service the customer

 

 

PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT

  • Is a leader and mentor to the Customer Associate team
  • Utilizes merchant expertise to develop team to uphold presentation standards
  • Collaborates with the team during morning, closing, and one minute meetings
  • Gains ability to effectively assess, apply inspiration and execute the presentation and display
  • Takes responsibility for own development and professional growth, identifies and trains replacement in preparation for career progression

 

LEADERSHIP

  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills; appropriately filters and communicates presentation initiatives
  • Gains proficiencies in strong assessment and decision-making skills
  • Gains proficiencies in entrepreneurship, takes smart risks with measurable results
  • Provides insight in relationship to merchandising, display and fixture needs and communicates information to leadership team
  • Acts as a liaison between leadership and store team by filtering communication of all visual initiatives
  • Builds and maintains productive partnerships
  • Ensures productivity and urgency during non-selling hours
