Title

Buying Operations Coordinator Internship

Reports to

Senior Buying Operations Coordinator

 

Overview

To support the daily operational functions within your buying division through follow-up with vendors and cross functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for entering reorders for product in both selling channels. Must be detail-oriented so that data is entered correctly and a steady flow of merchandise is maintained.
  • Ensure timely delivery of merchandise through consistent communication and follow-up with vendors, cross functional partners, distribution center and buying operations team.
  • Develop strong communication skills; tend to PO maintenance by pulling reports to support growth of the division.
  • Ensure proper set up and maintenance of buy information in our merchandise tracking system (MTS) including sku, descriptions, PO information, delivery, retail cost
  • Work in synergy with Buying Operations Coordinators toward common goals for the merchandise area.
  • Help Sr. Operations Coordinator with divisional projects such as in store prototypes, markdowns, store openings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experienced in Outlook, Word, Excel, and some math required.
