Overview

 

This is a versatile and exciting graphic design role that requires innovative design skills along with an interest & understanding of simple, stills photography.

 

This Role is a combination of creating design layouts for our concept team, taking ownership of all wholesale catalogs from design to print as well as designing and maintaining all merchandising messaging documents for catalog & web.

 

You’ll be creating visually dynamic and influential materials to share with internal and external partners. The role is extremely diverse and in some areas you will be expected to create very simple Still life photography vignettes to support your design layouts.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

MERCHANDISING:

 

  •          Taking simple white Silhouetted photographs of all products at finalization stage. Including mugs, plates, bowls, throws, pillows and some furniture.
  •  

          Working with the Merchandising team to create compelling visual messages for Catalog and Web using still images captured.
  •       

    Managing & designing a visual Indesign Document as well as maintain a Powerpoint document day to day.

     

                 

CONCEPT:

 

  •          Each season, working with the concept team to establish a new design layout to deliver the seasonal concept to the home team.
  •  

          This could include: a new booklet format, new front cover design, new graphic and typographic treatments to best support the messages.         

 

 

Qualifications

 

  •          Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – including: Indesign and Photoshop.
  •       Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint.  
  •          Excellent typographic and layout sensibility.
  •       Good still life Photography understanding. 

       

Education

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design or a related field.
