Overview

The main objective of the production designer’s role is to assist and support the digital content team with production, file prep of digital such as, but not limited to: affiliate banners, promotional banners, emails and online marketing. The production designer with work closely with digital project coordinator and department art directors to bridge the gap between creative and on-site. This is a part-time freelance role.  

 

 

 

Responsibilities

·         Ensure digital file format standards and proactively provide technical assistance and best practices of file management.

·         Create clean and formatted psd files that can be shared seamlessly by entire team.

·         Work with project coordinator to maintain deadlines and clearly communicate project status within basecamp.

·         Communicate with project coordinator on weekly objectives and help facilitate execution of projects with limited timelines.  

 

Qualifications

·         Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop on a Mac platform.

·         Must comprehend logical structure, readability, visual hierarchy and balance.

·         Advanced understanding of digital formats and screen sizes across devices.

·         Expert in slicing and creating web ready art work.  

·         Skilled at interpreting and communicating creative ideas & direction

 

Education

BFA in Graphic or Communication Design, or 1 year equivalent experience or internship experience.
