Anthropologie: Design Assistant - Studio Coordinator

Title

Design Assistant - Studio Coordinator

Reports to

Associate Designer- Tabletop

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining folders for design seasons and references
  • Create and compose presentation boards and maintain boards throughout the season.
  • Support tabletop and hardgoods teams with set-ups and breakdowns of presentations; sketch review, proto, seasonal meetings, finalization
  • Assist in design process initialization; creating and organizing product development sheets, sketch sheets, and consolidating sheets into packets for distribution to Buying, Production, and Product Development teams
  • Create and organize master templates for specs and briefing sheets
  • Assist design teams as necessary with compiling and organizing design briefs
  • Assist design teams as necessary with seasonal amendments
  • Organize and maintain reference samples, and reference libraries for tabletop and hardgoods teams
  • Attend relevant benchmark meetings and take detailed notes as directed    

 

Qualifications

  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Basic understanding of product design process

Job Skills

  • Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and seasons
  • Must have strong communication skills both written and verbally to effectively coordinate collaboration between Design teams and partners
  • Must be self-motivated and have ability to see creative vision through from inception to completion.
  • Must be enthusiastic about product and categories and be motivating in presentation and communication style.
  • Ability to work independently with high sense of urgency while supporting company goals and objectives.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree with a background in Graphic Design, Product Design, Photography, Fine Art, Fashion Design, or similar discipline preferred.
