Anthropologie Apparel Stylist - Financial District, New York

 

 

The Apparel Stylist contributes to a profitable and customer-centric environment through the successful development of the Stylist team. Responsible for managing all aspects of service experience of the store including; hiring and developing talent, overseeing elevated service and styling and developing a lasting customer connection with the brand.

 

REPORTS TO: Head Stylist

PARTNERS WITH: Department Managers and Merchandisers

 

EXPERIENCE

>         An entrepreneurial spirit with a startup mentality to be a part of our new Anthropologie & Co stores

>         Retail stylist experience or equivalent with an emphasis on apparel

>         An understanding of the Anthropologie culture and its appeal to the local market

>         Ability to drive sales through excellent service, strong visual presentation, and a full understanding of the business

>         Strong record of developing talented individuals at the associate level or above

 

PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT

>         Supports the Head Stylist in recruiting, hiring and retaining top talent to build bench for styling team and store

>         Recognizes and develops talented individuals for advancement and growth

>         Serves as an inspiration and set a strong example for elevated service and styling

>         Promotes an environment of collaboration, inspiration and teaching

>         Is self-aware and focused on self- development

 

LEADERSHIP

>         Builds and maintains productive partnerships

>         Communicates company, region and store goals consistently and effectively

>         Possesses strong assessment, decision-making, and communication skills

>         Is an entrepreneur, takes smart risks with measurable results

>         Provides global insight in relationship to the customer experience and communicates information to district team and home office

 

CUSTOMER CONNECTION

>         Cultivates an environment of genuine customer connection by demonstrating extraordinary service and leading by example

>         Acts as a brand ambassador reflective of the company values and aesthetic

>         Creates a personal styling experience that provides individual attention and engagement

>         Understands multi-channel business - implements processes and utilizes tools to better service the customer

>         Supports store team to engage in local community via events and social media platforms

 

AESTHETIC UNDERSTANDING & APPLICATION

>         Has a strong understanding of trend and style that is reflective of the brand and core customer

>         Communicates trends, supports brand messaging and inspires the internal/external customer

>         Collaborates to assess and impact store styling and outfitting

>         Connects brand aesthetic with store Social Media platforms

>         Supports product placement and outfitting that is reflective of trend and inspires the customer
