ANALYST - HUMAN RESOURCES ASSOCIATE (Corporate)

The HR Analyst analyzes human resources and management control practices across VF Global Human Resources and assess both external and internal risk factors of VF's Human Resources organization, spanning management areas such as: training & development operations, talent management, succession planning, recruiting, compensation & benefits management, ethics & compliance, and organizational design.  Additionally, this person will propose ways to improve the organization's effectiveness and efficiency.  The incumbent is responsible for analyzing relevant data, interviewing managers and employees, observing operations, and preparing recommendations, taking into account the nature of the business unit and culture.  Recommendations are presented to the business management in formal verbal presentations and in a written report. 

Description:

  •  Gather and organize information on problems or procedures within all Human Resources offices throughout the corporation.
  •  Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
  •  Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures.
  •  Interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment and personnel used.
  •  Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new procedures or processes.
  •  Prepare and present formal report to HR leadership and manager to explain findings of study and any recommended new procedures or processes. Delivery of high impact reviews to executive/senior human resources management critical.
  •  May help guide and review tasks/work outcomes of more junior HR Analysts

Education/Experience:

  • 0-2 Years of HR related experience required
  • BS or BA in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources or similar degree
  • Some HR internship or experience helpful

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Verbal and written fluency in English, additional languages a plus

• Proficient with Microsoft Office

• Annual travel of 50%, including outside of the U.S. (Not limited to, but mostly major cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York in the U.S. and Hong Kong, Shanghai, Buenos Aires, Brussels, Moscow, Istanbul, Bangalore, Stabio across the globe)

• Must be initially located in Greensboro, NC, but telecommuting will be available
