ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SUPERVISOR

Key Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for full cycle Account Payable, including: manual
invoice entry, data processing, approval routing, and payments

• Structure, organize, and measure the accounts payable workflow
to ensure continual improvement of processing, including
consolidation of vendor billing.

• Takes a lead role in transitioning to electronic payments and
facilitating payment of foreign vendors in multiple
currencies.

• Maintains robust processes which ensure compliance and takes
lead technical role in all IRS reporting requirements around
vendor payments, including issuance of Form 1099s.

• Provides regular disbursement forecasts for cash management
purposes.

• Prepares reconciliations of vendor ledgers and payables-
related accounts as part of the monthly and annual close
process; provides support in financial or compliance audits.

• Oversee daily accounts payable operations to ensure efficient
workflow, consistency, timely and accurate processing of
vendor invoices and employee T&Es

• Ensure all vendor and staff interactions are handled
professionally, timely, and consistent with company policies
and procedures

• Assist in the month-end closing, annual financial statement
audit and other periodic audits

• Handling issues or concerns with vendors pertaining to
payment
disbursement

• Overseeing new vendor setup process and ensuring accurate
setup and documentation

• Perform check/wire payment processing

• Monitor team productivity KPIs


Key Attributes, Skills, and Requirements include:

• 2-5 years in a supervisory role.

• Experience in a merchandise AP environment including ensuring
proper 3-way matching and discrepancy resolution

• PC proficient with Excel, Word, and general ledger systems

• Detail oriented and organized

• Ability to think analytically

• Ability to work independently

• Flexible with job assignments

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

• Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
