ACCOUNT MANAGER, E-Retail
Summary Description:
Lacoste Inc. is looking at reinforcing its e-Retail team based in NY so as to best drive its premiumization strategy through this channel.
The US e-Retail manager is in charge of the business follow-up of all pure player accounts. Accountabilities start with operations support (seasonal line overview, seasonal orders, inventory optimization, marketing and commercial follow-up) to leading new e-Retail businesses such as marketplaces or drop shipments with key partners. He/she will also build a comprehensive results dashboards and run analysis to constantly improve its channel performances.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Management of Major e-Retail Key Accounts
- Amazon.com key account manager. This role requires details in execution and high level picture at the same time to drive the account in a healthy direction. It will require some sales administration activities, marketing coordination and support of finance or logistics when needed.
- Marketing leader for all online retailers, Ensure that all brand assets are rolled out timely through Lacoste partner sites and that any qualitative branding opportunities are implemented. Maintain brand consistency through all sites to include Amazon, Zappos and potential new opportunities.
Facilitate development of new business models in the US
- Project leader followed by key account management of marketplaces once launched. Management of integration with a 3rd part service partner, assessing best business opportunities.
- Support the launch of any new e-Retail accounts
Lead US e-Retail performances
- Set up of an e-Retail KPIs dashboard
- Drive analysis of e-Retailer’s performances and draw recommendations (merchandising, assortment, logistics)
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Experience in Key Account management and sales administration
- Knowledgeable in Ecommerce, merchandising and marketplace management
- Experience in the apparel industry preferred
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Organized and rigorous attention to details
- Familiar with IT systems (catalogue databases, Amazon Vendor Central)
- Must have strong communication skills including face-to-face meetings, email, phone, and writing.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to work cross functionally between departments, external providers and remote teams
- Must be able to work well in a team setting.
- Must take initiative to obtain new clients and accounts.
- 5-10 years of experience in e-Retail.
- College degree preferred.
