ACCOUNT MANAGER - Consumer Goods
Client is a growing fashion brand that specializes in consumer goods . Products are carried by all big box retailers.
They are looking for a dynamic Account Manager to join their growing company. This position entails that you help acquire, maintain and develop our wholesale accounts, and implement a system to better capture leads and acquire new customers.
Ideal candidate would have at least several years worth of experience or a comparable sales background. This candidate must be analytical, detail oriented, be willing to learn, have a can do attitude and strong leadership attributes.
Responsibilities:
- Increase sales with existing relationships and new account outreach.
- Be able to follow up with all accounts in an organized manner to make sure they are re-ordering and are satisfied with our products.
- Maintain sales support and updates to customers.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills including professional email etiquette.
- Plan and participate in industry trade shows and events.
Requirements
- Recommended 3+ year experience in Wholesale Sales / Showroom.
- References from existing customers a plus.
- Knowledge and understanding of product features, fashion trends, and general industry terms.
- Goal oriented and high follow through.
- Must be able to solve problems and work independently.
- Must work well under pressure to meet deadlines & expectations.
- Excellent written, oral, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Must be able to travel and participate at Trade Shows at least twice a year.
Salary depending on experience. Must have a 4 year degree and very strong in EXCEL.
