ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Women's Apparel - A Division of Sport-elle Inc

Established 30 year old Women's Apparel Company, Onque Casuals, division of Sport-elle Inc, is actively seeking a savvy and sharp Account Executive to join their team in New York City and broaden its account base in ladies apparel (separate tops and related separate collections)

Responsibilities

• Develop programs and execute strategies in order to maximize sales and margins.  
• Identify and strategize key item classifications for growth, while achieving internal markup to maximize the business 
• Cultivate, develop and maintain relationships through constant communication with new and existing customers for optimal growth 
• Work with design team to create product development assortment plans
• Present collection in showroom appointments and market weeks
• Take on additional tasks, as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of sales experience of wholesale experience in ladies casual sportswear specifically
• Well-established network with mid-tier department store as well as on line, catalogs and private label
• Strong relationships with buyers and upper management
• Results-driven with proven ability to achieve sales goals
• Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, and collaborative team-player
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
