ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Suits

General Overview:

The Account Executive is responsible for selling Tahari ASL Suits to Specialty Stores throughout North America. This position requires a candidate who is proactive, accountable, professional, charismatic, strategic, and entrepreneurial.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing small volume accounts
  • Following-up independently on account needs
  • Reviewing style selling/seasonal item trackers
  • Organizing samples
  • Sending ad samples to account
  • Assisting in showroom working appointments
  • Organizing meeting information

Pre Market:

  • For Key Accounts: each appointment has to be organized beforehand, with all the main variables strategized: core selection, depth, number of SKUS, proportion by delivery, etc.
  • Generate proper sell-in strategies by account and by collection (dollars and units),elaborating budgets and projections both in units and dollars with the Head of Sales in order to meet expected growth
  • Coordinate with Operations for the arrival of sample collections, etc.
  • Hire, train and manage interns

During Market:

  • Responsible of the brands sell-in/market performances.
  • Projections and Budgets (agreed in pre-market phase) have to be met
  • Manage showroom activities (model bookings, catering, etc.)
  • Ensure the collections are presented following company standards
  • Update projections in the light of appointments’ outcome
  • Responsible for ensuring appointments are executed impeccably and with the necessary support
  • Ensure all the accounts’ orders are entered correctly

After Market:

  • Responsible for compiling collection recaps and submitting them to the Head of Sales
  • Primary contact for Specialty Store Buyers
  • Generate selling reports for Head of Sales
  • Coordinate with the warehouse to determine the best timing for shipping with respect to inventory and financial situations

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years apparel industry experience
  • Bachelor degree required
  • High energy and self-motivated
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Highly skilled in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
