Growing global distributor of Infant/Toddler Accessories and Footwear Company is seeking qualified hands-on Account Executive to join their sales team. Applicants are required to obtain an understanding of the contemporary infant/toddler fashion market, as well as a working knowledge of specialty & mid-tier department stores. Current relationships are key.
Responsibilities/activities include:
- Helping to manage and grow the assigned territories
- Strengthen and build existing relationships with current account base as well as targeting new accounts
- Exceeding sales goals and working to assist other team members as needed
- Travel to national retailers and build and develop new accounts as well as existing clients through the sales order process.
- Foster strong relationships with buyers.
- Partner with product development and work closely with design team to meet retailer’s needs.
- Attend trade shows throughout the U.S.
- Planned and project inventory
- Utilize customized software to purchase goods, manage inventory, ship outstanding orders, as well as follow through on the sales cycle.
- Communicating regularly with clients via onsite meetings, telephone, email, etc.
- Completing all performance and sales reviews with manager and incorporating feedback into your sales process
- Performing other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in the Infant/toddler accessories industry
- Proven performance in sales/account management
- Ability to work with prospects to develop strong business solution cases coupled with solid closing skills
- Results-oriented approach, high energy, balanced with a “take charge” attitude with teamwork and collaboration
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
