Looking to hire an Account Executive with 2 + years sales experience for Emperia, Inc., a handbag manufacturer and distributor based in downtown Los Angeles. We work with major brands and retailers. Ideal candidates have previous sales experience, a strong ability to drive sales and build relationships with buyers, are extremely organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and very personable. Ability to successfully manage the product development calendar is must! Relaxed, casual environment with lots of potential for growth!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive sales in order to meet Company sales goals.
• Manage account relationships and resolve challenges through consistent follow-up and outstanding customer service.
• Manage the product development and production process for all orders received to ensure PO’s are shipped in a timely manner.
• Think creatively and strategically to maximize current and prospective account base.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 2 + years of experience as an Account Executive or Sales Rep for a contemporary brand.
• Customer service-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work efficiently, accurately and independently on projects.
• Strategic, goal-oriented and highly motivated
• Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Programs, specifically Excel.
• Understanding, appreciation and knowledge of contemporary fashion brands. Handbag experience is a plus but not necessary.
• Proven organization skills.
• Comfortable multi-tasking and juggling competing/changing priorities.
• Above all else, candidates must possess a can-do attitude and be team player.
