Contemporary apparel company has an immediate opening for a wholesale Account Exec to work directly with Sales Manager and Owner. Seeking mid to senior level sales person with solid experience and contacts in the current dress market at major and specialty store levels. This position will not come with a given list of accounts, so all business will need to be built and grown. Looking for self-starting, goal driven professional who knows how to build an account base - not interested in a sales person who's only managed house accounts without having landed and managed them on their own. Participation in NY and regional tradeshows applicable, so ability to travel is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 4 years of experience in a related role
• Industry savvy with strong knowledge of current market trends
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Goal-oriented and highly motivated
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
