SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE - Children's Sleepwear

Cloud Nine Clothing LLC is an exciting company in midtown Manhattan designing fun sleepwear and sleepwear accessories for children. The name of the brand is Sleep On It. Take a look at our website to see where Sleep On It sleepwear is selling. We are a happy and creative team that is looking for an experienced Account Executive. We desire someone that is like minded to help us grow. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and creative in acquiring new accounts. We all contribute to the success of the company. Your ability to establish new relationships, that generate sales, is vital.

Responsibilities

  • Will work with our sales team/CEO by making sales calls to both existing and potential accounts
  • Strategically cultivate new accounts.  Strategize means to penetrate new markets; oversee development and maintain business relationships with customers.
  • Guide research and competitive analysis; interpret relevant trends and communicate to internal partners, where appropriate.
  • Collect and analyze field sales data. Track sales reports and produce required company reports (must have at least intermediate Excel experience)
  • Maintain knowledge of customer needs and marketplace trends to provide to design teams
  • Provide presentations to select prospective customers as required
  • Develop and source point of sale and establish strategies
  • Maintain company database of prospects and customers and identify new prospective customers
  • Access inventory in AMT (will provide AMT training)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • Previous experience with children’s apparel sales, Private Label experience a plus but would consider branded sales experience
  • Must have established and current relationships with all tiers of retailer, DMM level and below.
  • Prior experience in direct selling 
  • Microsoft Office experience a must
  • Overnight travel of at least 25%
