ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Children's Apparel
Our client is a children's apparel company that does both children's sportswear and licensed apparel, and they are currently seeking an Account Executive.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $80-85k + commission
Position Overview: Looking for a confident team player that can join the children's sportswear team as an Account Executive. Will be working with mass market retailers.
Responsibilities:
- The Account Executive manages multiple major department store accounts and off-price accounts with a strategic focus on quality of sale
- Develops strong relationships with key department store contacts
- Proactive in making recommendations to further drive the business in-season
- Identifies and reacts to new opportunities
- Fiscal responsibility to include: weekly order confirmations in both fashion and replenishment/reorders/bulk order integrity/daily shipping/monthly allocation calls
- Leads seasonal presentations and assortment recommendations by client
- The Account Executive effectively communicates goals and partners with internal cross-functional teams as needed
- Competitive market analysis
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in a wholesale environment working with major and off price department stores
- Prior experience in children's apparel
- Thrives in a fast pace environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft programs to include: Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Solution oriented, strong problem solving skills, takes accountability
- Sense of urgency and attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated and the ability to take initiative to complete tasks quickly and independently
- Understanding of retail financial measurements
- Comfortable with some travel
- Exemplary level of customer service
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
