Account Executive - Mens & Boys Activewear & Sportswear

M. Hidary & Company, an apparel company in Midtown Manhattan seeks a bright, disciplined, and polished Account Sales Executive with 5+ years of selling experience in a wholesale sales environment. The ideal candidate possessed a strong work ethic, persistent and passionate with a take-charge personality and is extremely disciplined. Knowledge and experience of the apparel industry is preferred.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• NY Showroom and travelling apparel Account Salesperson
• Call on existing accounts
• Open new accounts
• Develop E-Comm business
• Order Maintenance
• Sample Management

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Strong organizational skills – organized, detail oriented, and extremely focused
• Great communication skills
• Persistence and passion a must
• Tech Savvy
• Able to carry sample cases and travel for sales meetings as necessary
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Dept. Stores and Mass Market Retailers experience is a great plus

Experience in Men’s and Boys’ apparel is a strong plus.

Salary $70k - $80k BOE
