Global Visual Merchandising Assistant

primary purpose: support the senior manager, global visual merchandising strategy with all

department initiatives and projects (mainline and outlet).

the successful individual will leverage their proficiency in visual merchandising to...

• coordinate all visual merchandising needs for global rollouts to support the vision set forth by

Senior Manager. Including but not limited to: creating initiative launch decks, vm standards

and guidelines, details for fixture orders, compiling fixture orders, organizing and procuring

samples, etc.

• drive department efficiency through maintaining and enforcing use of shared drive adhering

to department guidelines, the deck (global platform), and other file shares (Egnyte, etc.).

• create, update and distribute to global partners (regional vm, general managers, regional

buyers) all vm documents that pertain to global store environments, through partnership with

the architecture and fixture design teams. Including but not limited to: documentation of

global floorplans, sku documents, fixture catalogues (HKW).

• support the development and distribution of key departmental communication tools.

Including but not limited to: creation of monthly and seasonal directives (retail, sis, travel

retail, and outlet), executive presentations, weekly checklist, inspirational documents, and

seasonal window and interior recaps.

• oversight of seasonal competitive shopping and trend reports through communication with

identified global ‘comp shop’ team.

• contribute to ‘hands on’ visual merchandising initiatives at local NYC doors, JFK Airport, etc.

as needed.

• support other departmental miscellaneous needs, such as domestic and international

packaging, shipping, and logistics, prop kitting and distribution, and procurement of

materials / boards for presentations.

the accomplished individual will possess...

• 1 – 3 years experience in visual merchandising (store or corporate office), or bachelor’s degree

in visual merchandising/related field

• outstanding technical skills in all adobe creative suite applications and Microsoft office (CAD,

sketch up, and other programs a +)

• a strong attention to detail

• a desire to pursue a visual merchandising career

• a goal and results oriented personality

installation needs
