Company Profile

FashionLink is one of the leading fashion importers and distribution companies in the USA.

In 1983, after running two companies as a sales manager, Peter Jacobson formed Creative Concepts. The company was originally launched with a focus on a unique concept - promoting California designers in the contemporary market. With a strong retail background after growing up in the clothing business, and with training at Marks and Spencer in London, Galleries Lafayette in Paris and Federated stores in Los Angeles, he felt well equipped to launch an independent showroom. With vision and faith, Creative Concepts soon grew to be recognized as the premier sales organization in the women’s market and "the place to be", with showrooms in Los Angeles, New York and Dallas. Creative Concepts became known for introducing innovative fashion brands to department stores, chains and specialty boutiques and also for developing private label and product development.

In 2007, after many years as a successful agent, and after requests from several brands, FashionLink was formed to develop and grow the distribution of European brands throughout the USA. Today, with a team based in the Los Angeles headquarters and along with other agents, FashionLink's brands are presented in the best multi-brand specialty stores across the USA. FashionLink prides itself in its professionalism and efficient customer service. It acts as the key link between the stores and the brands, at the same time retaining the personality and the image of the individual brands.

FashionLink focuses on the" better contemporary" to “young designer”  women’s market. Its goal is to search for the best of the global fashion market and to build the brands recognition in the USA. This is achieved not only by direct contact (in store visits and trade shows around the country), but also by maximizing the use of today's technology, utilizing the web, social media and email blasts. FashionLink develops strong relationships with both its vendors and customers, working closely together to strategize building the brand's performance, image and recognition.

FashionLink is credit approved by Coface and Euler Hermes. Shipping is from two warehouses, one on the East Coast and one on the West in order to minimize the time of getting product to market. The average receiving time is 48 hours and shipping is normally within 48 hours of the completion of the receiving.

Constantly soliciting from the over 7000 stores in its current database, FashionLink maximizes the brand's distribution by placement in the key stores in key cities around the country. FashionLink has a proven track record, demonstrating time and time again its solid understanding of the U.S. market and the brands they distribute.
