SALES MANAGER - Wholesale

FREIDA ROTHMAN is seeking a highly ambitious, goal-oriented Sales Manager to head up the entire sales division.  This is for a for a seasoned luxury fashion sales professional to take the lead in elevating our brand to its next level of growth. The Sales Manager will define the global brand sales strategy, implement the sales plan and manage the sales of all product categories (fashion jewelry and accessories) across all channels (wholesale, e-commerce, trade and retail). 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Key focus will be the positioning the brand and achieving sales target in all channels: FR retail, department stores and multi-brand independents
  • Define the distribution plans according to brand positioning and the annual sales target
  • Promote and grow the brand in all territories to both existing accounts and new accounts
  • Secure and manage agent and distributor partnerships where applicable.
  • Provide in-season support with training/stock swaps/re-orders/incentives
  • Build and manage a sales team
  • Implement company policies and procedures for all wholesale accounts.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • At least 5-10 years of luxury jewelry or luxury lifestyle wholesale sales management experience
  • Existing strong relationships with key department and specialty stores
  • Proven track record of achieving sell in and sell out targets
  • Strong leadership skills and experience of managing a varied team
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work fast under pressure - adaptable and flexible
  • Confident and outgoing – a proactive and creative thinker
  • Strong organizational skills and time management.
  • Experience of working within an international environment an asset for future growth
  • Advanced sales, business development and negotiation skills
  • Strong product presentation skills and visual merchandising skills
  • Ability to communicate and present information to senior management
  • Ability to communicate to key accounts and independents in a convincing and professional manner
  • Solid analytical skills when processing varied data from different sources
  • Ability to work in a designer showroom environment with a designer as head of company

Good knowledge of Excel and ability to learn new systems
